Stylish before and after full home renovation

We rarely decide to renovate our entire home. We usually do it in steps so that we can still use the other areas while the kitchen or bedroom is being renovated. However, if you want to create continuous design its best to do it all at the same time. Α great example for that is this particular home. It took the owners 5 months to complete the whole project and they spent $75K for the entire home.

Αmong the most visible changes we could mention the exposed brick wall from the first floor that was previously hidden, the open dining and living area, the open metal staircase and the hardwood flooring. Now the home has an overall industrial look with rough modern touches such as the industrial−style lighting fixtures or the salvaged furniture pieces.

The owner wanted a dcor that would combine several styles, including vintage, industrial and modern. They really wanted an exposed brick wall and they got one along with a beautiful fireplace and chimney.

The fireplace from the bedroom gives it a vintage/rustic look. To create a more industrial look, the owners opted for floating stairs with steel stringers, cedar posts and aircraft wire. To also add something modern, they decided to have a contemporary kitchen. There you can see a farmers sink with an industrial pendant lights above the breakfast bar. To create a sense of continuity they used hardwood flooring throughout the home.{found on designsponge}.
